The Ideal-Lume™ Pro2 by MediaLight is a professional LED desk lamp, designed to provide control console area illumination in critical colour-grading post-production environments.
It provides localised, downward lighting that conforms to the recommended CIE D65 specification for ambient illumination when working on video.
The Pro2 uses a new class of ColorGrade™ MPro2 SMD (LED) chips, powered by blue-violet emitters that virtually eliminate LED emitter spike, with an incredible colour rendering index (CRI) of 99 Ra, TLCI 99.7 Qa, and Spectral Similarity Index (SSI) of 88.
A removable black blinder hood is included to prevent screen reflections from the LEDs. Highly-variable dimming is provided for adjusting the light output as needed.
Use of this product allows compliance with the latest SMPTE standards and recommendations for reference viewing environment conditions.
